I still think she will go for an abortion and change her mind last minute, only to miscarry due to diabetes complications. This has been tipped to be a "dark storyline". As this is a soap, I don't think it's going to be Dan's (even though I wish that was the case), however, why tie Ross down with another baby?

As Jessica_Bobbing posted, we'll probably get the equally predictable "trip to an abortion clinic where the mum-to-be changes her mind at the last minute" subplot to look forward to.

That would be good. I think Kerry needs something serious to happen, to bring out a deeper side to her character.

How old is Kerry supposed to be? Her age might have more impact when combined with her diabetes and having just gone through a traumatic third pregnancy with a friend who is 39 there is no doubt that things change as we get older!

I reckon at least 37. Amy is 21 now ( she was 16 when she got pregnant), so unless Kerry was a ' gymslip Mum' ... So her age could contribute and combined with the diabetes and her relatively unhealthy lifestyle, I guess it could be serious.

No she almost went blind, but instead of taking it seriously Kate Oates wanted it played for laughs so Kerry didn't take it really seriously walking around with a stupid pink eyepatch.
If something is going to happen ie, a miscarriage then I'm glad it's happening to Kerry for the sake of her being given something serious to do for once, I don't think a comedy character works if they're in comedy mode all the time.

I agree. Kate Oates left the story line unfinished. Kerry's diabetes story should have been explored more like Belle's schizophrenia.

Where does it say that? I have the same theory but I haven't seen that spoiler anywhere. If it was Ross' she'd only be 3 weeks pregnant, and I think that's too early to get morning sickness, so I'm thinking its Dan's. Unless it's just stupid writing.

The direction lately has been terrible though, if you ask me, everybody is very obviously "acting" nothing feels genuine.

Yup. I think the same. It will probably turn out to be Dan's but she'll miscarry. No one can ever be truly happy in soap.
