I'd like Vinny to run off with the money (if they are successful in obtaining it) and leave Phelan without anything. What a smack in the face that would be as he has been determined to get this cash for months.

The characters have often spoken of the end of the swindle, so it's not a spoiler : they're planning to take deposits for off-plan sales and scarper. Possibly they're too stupid to realise that, in that case, they could sell each "planned" flat more than once,

What we don't know is how much they'll spend in presenting a flat as something which will exist ... street address, level site, walls, an actual show flat?

He'll sell them off the plans. Alex will be by his side as the bag man. Phelan doesn't do show apartments, his word and honest face is enoumore than enough to fleece them. By the time he finishes with them I'll be surprised if they don't end up on a stick in the kebab shop.

Phelan needs to stay as long as possible
