Please, Aaron is far from boring. Ross is nothing but straight Aaron who was brought in as a replacement when Danny Miller left.

And when Aaron first came back I was hoping they'd pair him with Ross. They could have been the gay Bonnie and Clyde. Ross and Robert would never work one of them would end up dead.

Both are part time criminals
Both had issues with their parents when they came on the show
Both have been involved in very dramatic but popular relationships
Both have a tendency to resort to violence.

The only difference is Aaron is gay

Aaron is quiet and moody, Ross is cocky and loves to be the centre of attention.
Ross is funny, Aaron isn't.
Ross revels in the bad stuff he does, Aaron hates it.
Having similar storylines doesn't make the characters similar

Aaron used to revel in the bad stuff, remember him cutting the breaks on Carl's car? He has just started to mature..maybe one day Ross will too

I agree with you on the humor front, but Ross has only recently become funny. I honestly believe Kate Oates created Ross as a replacement for Aaron..actually I think Finn and Ross were both brought into replace Aaron, Ross as straight Aaron and Finn as the new gay guy. Ross became very popular so even though Aaron returned they still featured him heavily but Finn served no use anymore since he wasn't that popular and Emmerdale had its #1 gay guy back.

Kate Oates wanted a new family that included a bad boy, as Cain was starting to be nice. When Aaron left he wasn't a bad boy or a villain.

Well I think Aaron was always intended to be Cain the next generation, and when left Kate Oates brought in Ross to fill that void..hence Ross being straight Aaron

Mark is only saying that about Danny because he is judging him based on the soap actors he has seen personally.

I don't think Mark watched the UK soaps when the likes of Suranne Jones and Dame Sarah Lancashire were doing corrie. So he can only base his opinions based on what he saw.

I honestly don't get what people see in Danny Miller. Every scene he is in he either just screws up his face, looks sideways and shakes his head. Every single scene he is in he does the exact same movements.

He is very much a one trick pony.

Ive seen a bit of Suranne Jones in some old Corrie clips, she seemed good but for me Danny Miller is it, he really is one of the best actors I've ever seen on a soap and the only one I think is on his level is Jack Shepard.

Wasn't Danny at Mike's charity event after party the other night there? I assumed it was a recent picture as Isabel (Vic) had brown hair and Mike was wearing the same clothes as the charity event

I'd be amazed if Danny Miller was leaving. He tried that, he knows how hard it is out there, and he seems to prefer the security and celebrity that comes with soap.

I wouldn't care if he did though. To be honest, I wouldn't even notice. Robert might suddenly get a lot more interesting I guess. But it's way more likely Ryan Hawley would leave first.
