Yeah I thought they were gonna get together too but the story has been completely dropped, Harriet and Bob are rarely even seen these days.

There was a bit of flirting last year but nothing really happened

I wouldn't mind seeing this happen. It would give Bob, Brenda and Harriett something to do as they are pretty much extras these days.

Harriet has always appeared superfluous in the show and I thought she was being written out. I like Bob and Brenda together and I would like them to have more storylines.

I don't recall any news regarding a Harriet exit

I'd love to see more of Harriet, shes a brilliant actress and given the right storyline development could be a brilliant character. Being Ashley's second, unloved wife and carer being bossed around by Laurel is a complete waste of a good character.

Bob's character has diminished to nothing since he's been with Brenda. He needs to get back behind the bar of the Woolpack and get his quirky spark back.

I'm glad they dropped the Bob/Harriet spark though, Harriet has more morals and dignity than to carry on with a married man and i could never put up with Brenda and her victim complex for months (she was a nightmare during Bob and Val's forgery scam reveal).

I wonder if they dropped it b/c thats around the time they decided that Harriet would become vicar. It might be a touchy area to have the local vicar caught out having an affair with a married man, unless/until they have a plan for how to deal with the implications that would have.

Good theory actually. Makes sense
