Spot the problem
Was looking at the traffic cameras on the M25 just now on the Traffic England website and spotted a problem.
http://public.highwaystrafficcameras...tml/14883.html http://public.highwaystrafficcameras...tml/14903.html Can you see what it is? Clue, read the text, (which normally would sit under the picture), then look at the picture. |

Access to the specified resource is forbidden. If not then go to the Traffic England website and zoom into the section of the M25 between the M4 and M3. Click Map Layers at the top of the map and select Traffic Cameras. Then click on a selection of cameras, especially those between the M3 and A30 junctions. |

I think quite a few of the M25 central reservation cameras have that problem. So how are you supposed to decide which is closest?

![]() Let's face it most of the time on that section of the M25 you'd have plenty of time to do that.

The links don't work and no-one is going to Google that website, search around for the specific cameras for something that is at best vaguely interesting.
How about you just post what the problem is? I suspect this is yet another "I saw somebody famous in ASDA and you'll never believe who it was!" Type threads. The disappointing answer is usually an extra from 2 episodes of Howard's Way. |

I can't believe people are getting so worked up about what is quite frankly a throw away thread about nothing really important
![]() Had the original links worked for more than about 10 nano seconds after I posted them you would see that they are images from traffic cameras on the M25. With a caption underneath saying 'The carriageway nearest the camera is Anti Clockwise". The "problem" is that the camera is on top of a pole in the central reservation! So which is the 'carriageway nearest the camera"? That is all. Nothing to get excited about....

I followed the step-by-step instructions. Try this link on for size. The pole may be on the central reservation but the camera seems to be slightly to the right.
It probably would be better to say that the camera is facing clockwise or anticlockwise (around the M25), rather than which way the traffic is going. Oh well. |
