His talent is undeniable. I'd love for him to achieve commercial success again as I honestly feel like he would've broken the XF male curse had he kept his mouth shut.

Wow.

Loved it and I'd forgotten how good his voice is. Really really like the track. Off to purchase it now.

Doing very well at #12 on iTunes. I can't stop listening to it.

Never been a fan but this is a good song.

Horrible individual, who probably waited this long to release some music in the hopes everyone will have forgotten his awful comments.

Of course, given his personality, it won't be long before he's saying something fairly ridiculous again.

Such a shame that people judge others on past shortcomings and never believe redemption is possible. The singer's of my youth were fortunate that Social Media did not exist
He has a brilliant voice and I wish him well

Fantastic song and so great to have him back. People need to let the past go. He's acknowledged he was a dick, apologised and got his shit together. Give the guy a break.

Song is very good. Glad to see he's just as talented as before. I hope this does well for him, lyrics are very personal.

Agreed. Him and Leon Jackson are the worst winners X Factor ever had. How James Arthur ever won I shall never know - miserable dreary and whiney little twerp!

He should rebrand himself. Maybe change his name to 'j.arthur'.....

Although I was never a James Arthur fan, I am mildly interested to see if he can be successful again after getting dumped by Syco. Nobody has really managed to do it, though Alex, Leona and Matt have managed to carve out careers for themselves.

Always loved his voice - it's spectacular. His diction is woeful on this, but it's a very good song. Wish him well.

Alex & Leona always seemed to have kept some connection with S.Cowell in that they have often appeared back on TXF and Leona has performed several times since the split.

Matt has never been back.

Funnily enough James doesn't appear to have that bad a relationship with Syco, he was invited to Syco's summer party this year.

Here he is with Ella.

Cowell never forgave Matt for beating 1D - despite the fact that they had huge success anyway. Matt will never be back on the XF. However, he's still managed to make a career in music. He won a best west end debut award last year, has just finished a tour, is releasing a limited edition live album in October via his website, and his fourth studio album is being released in early 2017. He's also been a guest vocalist with the Trevor Horn band a couple of times this summer, including the Rewind South festival - so he's managed to carve out a very nice career using the XF as a launch pad, but effectively escaping the Cowell shackles.

Just to add - not a fan of James Arthur's post XF behaviour - he was especially nasty towards Matt. However he has apologised (first time two years ago) and there's no point holding a grudge. The new song is really good - and if the iTunes early success leads to radio AirPlay, then it could be a number one.

I always liked James too he came across as very likeable and I was delighted when he won. I always knew he would have done well since his first audition and I willed him on in the live shows to reach the final and then become the winner.

I fully on all this. I really like Matt Cardle and he deserved far more from Syco. I am thrilled he managed to keep his career going as all 3 of his albums are great.

He is surprisingly doing really well. It's a nice song, would be nice to see someone manage to come back after being dumped by Syco.
