Ugh, please no. James is gay, though, so it's unlikely. Probably just co-dependency.

She wants to have James all for herself, and to be all that he has.... codependency to the highest level. I hope James breaks away from it...

All those people murdered by Lynsey, no reactions from any of their family members or friends, just nothing. I am pretty sure there would have been a mob of family members outside the Roscoes or the hospital, not just carrying on with their life like nothing has happened. Not quite sure the McQueens would be happy with Mercedes dating Joe when Lynsey killed Phoebe, it wasn't Joe's fault, but it would be natural to be angry at those closest to Lynsey for what she did.
That's all they need to do, just show the characters reacting from what just happened, Maxine moving back into her flat, show her being suspicious of Nico, have James mention that he is working on Sienna's case, anything showing that this has just happened. It doesn't need to be the focus, it just needs to be there. No emotion from anyone at all, except the slightest reaction from Kim, not even Joe or Freddie considering their long history, it was pathetic. It's Maxine's flat, she just accepted being kicked out and moved into one of the 124 spare rooms in the boarding house. She's suspicions of Nico, we saw that yesterday, why has that been ignored? As you say, it doesn't have to be the forefront, just noticeably there in the background, that's not too much to ask is it? |

Why would he accuse James when he knows Marnie was being typically crackers?

The Roscoe house wasn't even a crime scene! Presumably Lindsey was taken away and that was that. No investigation or anything.

Their better episodes are the character driven ones, the well written storylines. There was no explosions or car crashes this week, just characters, so if they can make great episodes like that, why no character reactions to what just happened. They can do it, they just don't want to. |

Get Neeta away from him, poor James! I really hope they don't go down the domestic violence route, especially as Neeta's already been through it before.

So James was/is physically abused by his father and emotionally by his mother, very much Patrick and Sienna like, showing that he, just like Sienna, has grown up to be the way he is because of the abuse and control of his parents. I am liking James more and more, wish they would show him more with Nathan and Alfie though.
How did JP get to the pub by himself? |

As much as I despise Mac (can't believe he used to be likeable!) the actor is fantastic when given good material. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he's the cause of Marnie being so mentally unstable
