Does anyone else wish that the new exec was focusing more on Sarah than Maria. I could imagine her being the show's new leading lady but Maria is just falling flat at being front and centre.

I thought Samia was very good tonight and it's always nice to see her out of Maria's usual dowdy wardrobe. Caz is awful but I can live with her as long as she is a short term character.
The Platts helped elevate these episodes as per. Such a watchable, believable family unit with such history. The best in soap land. It's just a shame that they tend to disappear for weeks. David was on fire tonight and the best thing to come from Kylie's death is the return of Gail. I liked Rita and Norris popping up to provide some wit and wisdom as well as interacting with characters outside their age range. The character interaction has improved but the merry go round of relationships is very tedious. Maybe it's just too much relationship based drama? I feel the foundations are being laid but I'd like some axings (which are well overdue) and new blood. |

Steph threatening Maria was music to my ears. Luke should stay well clear of her she's high maintenance.

Nice to see Norris going for something different.

David was cutting the non-existant hair on top of his head!

Is David the new Corrie hunk. He's got his top off again

Does Joanna Lumley never go on holiday without a film crew in tow?

Craig's a big lad. I reckon he must weigh at least half an Eileen.

The irony of the scene in the hairdressers is that David looks younger than Lauren.

P*ss off, Sean, you selfish, vindictive, vile, irritating oxygen thief.

Was that the first time any hair has actually been cut off in the salon?

Can David use his scissors on Phelans Bollocks

I wonder if Jack P Shepherd really did cut her hair.

She wouldn't be allowed in the car with the accused! They could work on their story together!

I thought Rita was going to ask for Luke's number there. He is the new James Bond.

This was filmed and screened deliberately for people who wish they could see the back of Maria.
