So they never did a scene between Grant and the Mitchell Sisters then.

They will be like the Wicks brothers. Never to cross paths on screen (running into the caff doesn't count).

I hope he comes back. I can't shake the vision I have of him and Belinda running the Vic!

I can't believe they resurrected the 21 year old Mark Fowler being Grants son storyline for it to end with Grant being a part of it like that.

Utterly woeful and badly executed.

Let's be real here. The first two episodes of this week were an utter low point. Horrendously bad. And Grant was a part of that, but he wasn't the only reason they were so shit. These last two have been brilliant and yes, Grant was a part of that, but again he wasn't the only reason they were so good.

EE has a huge problem with inconsistency and Grant, if he had stuck around, wouldn't have guaranteed quality.

Eastenders was really good with Grant this week, guess it's going to go back to boring again.

One negative: Ronnie and Grant didn't share a scene.

They are wrapping up a lot of stories it seems over the coming weeks and getting rid of a lot to f characters. Then it seems the show will get a bit of a reboot with new characters and new storylines.

He was good tonight, but so were Pam, Les, Dot and Colin and Phil and Ben. TBH I'm more sorry to see Courtney go, she is so watchable. I hope we see her and Mark back again but as brother and sister next time.

But next week Denise sets up Masood and Bitter Carmel, and Buster has some market drama Not boring in the slightest.

I disagree

One character shouldn't determine whether a show is enjoyable or not. It's managed plenty of successful enjoyable dramatic great years without him.

The quality of the show when he's in it to when he isn't is alarming next week we have Dartsgate resuming! 😴

Agree LM one person is not bigger than the show or it would have collapsed when Angie and Den left first time round

Oh fantastic, can't wait for that.

This is where the REAL drama will get going.

I've enjoyed having Grant and co around, despite the poor writing for him.

I enjoyed Grant for the first time in yesterday's episode but I'm pleased he has left now. The media and the producers hyped up Grant's return but the EastEnders will thrive if we get some exciting new characters. I hope we get to see Courtney again one day and I've been very impressed with the actress and I love her facial expressions - she's a good actress.

To be honest, I was enthralled of Pam and Les' storyline and the actors did a brilliant job. I'm sorry to hear they're leaving soon.
