It was said everywhere that Grant would be returning for a 3 week stint this month but now it turns out to be only 1 week.

When Peggy returned it was meant to be for 6 weeks but only ended up being a couple of episodes aswell so why aren't they straight with us?

I don't know about why Ross but I think with Barbara six week stint was because they wanted to space filming out so it would suit Babs I remember she started filming back in March and the last thing Babs filmed was on the river thames which was done the week before Peggy return on screen.

Dannielle westbrook was filming for two weeks but it ended up as 4 episodes.

DOn't forget Grants return in early August as that was filmed during his three week stint and so was the one off in July

it never said he would be on screen for 3 weeks, just that he was filming for 3 weeks, from that 3 weeks we got 2 weeks and the one off funeral appearance

The whole things been dreadful, if you add up the episodes in about 6 eps we had Peggy find out the cancer was terminal, come terms with it, say goodbye to her family, beside to commit sucide. Get talked out of it only to realise actualy she had s bingo hall in hull to open on the Friday so topped herself whilst pat (back from the dead for one night one one night only) watched on, then a funeral (unexplainly nearly 3 months later) when the daughter turned up with jacks spare kid, dumped that and fled) then Courtney showed up n grand bumped into Sharon outside the cop shop, then Michelle ( for the other 25s who actualy remember her) in a moment of madness sent a letter in secret to Peggy, (unexplained how she new the one day Peggy would be back on the square I assume she reads inside soap) skilled the beans then grant turned up again and wasn't really that surprised he had a son, kinda just shrugged it off leaves to go back to Portugal with a daughter who "wasn't that fussed" about uni, meanwhile nothing else changed in Albert square, this whole things been an anti climax, and quite frankly an insult

i found the whole thing very odd, like why is Grant suddenly the Devil?? Sharon was in love with him a few weeks ago now hes the worst possible thing that could happen to Mark.
What was that all about ?!

The show has set itself up for a massive fall.
Bringing back Grant and focusing on it's legacy will really highlight how poor the rest of the storyline are from here on in.
I despair on what's about to follow, but I won't be watching.
The only saving grace is Max's return and maybe Jays, the rest will be dullness personified.

Peggy knew her cancer was terminal back in January. She told Phil then she was dying. The only thing she found out when she returned to the Square was that she didn't have long left as it had reached her brain.

Yes I no, what I'm saying is if you string the eps Peggy n grant where in together it's not a lot, considering it was built up and there so iconic it's pathetic.

When Barbara Winsor kept saying she could get grant back for dtc, I didn't realise she only meant for 1 afternoon
