Ben giving Phil his liver?

Would Ben need to kill himself?

Well, no. You can donate a portion of your liver to someone, if you are a compatible donor.

a portion of his liver can be donated - your liver regenerates itself anyway, the only organ to do this. I wish brain regenerated itself also as I mind myself forgetting things these days lol

I wish he would - I'd happily remove it for him.

Yes. He'll have to carve it out himself too.

Why has the possibility of a live donor transplant been mentioned before? Surely the hospital would have asked blood relatives if they were willing to donate and tested those willing to help for a match?

Ironically Phil does seem to have a timeshare on a private NHS room that he visits on a yearly basis.

Thats what I was wondering. Why haven't all the Mitchells been queuing up to test their blood types etc..

If William was the only match it would have been better, very controversial.

Maybe Ronnie or Roxy give theirs and die of septicaemia.
