I've mentioned this in other threads. If her team want good sale or longevity in the charts then she needs to promote. As I've mentioned before I know her team have been and she have been promoting in the US obviously as she does her show in Vegas but they need to in other Countries. Although I'm not sure how her Vegas contract works. I've read and not 100% sure if this is right but I don't think her Vegas contract allows her to do much outside of Vegas let alone the US but now with Jennifer Lopez and I think other artists performing there she could promote outside the US like she is at the ITunes Festival in London. However I don't see why her team or her contract wouldn't allow her to film interviews or performances from Vegas for TV Shows broadcast around the world. Even though she's not physically in that country it would still count as promotion. Plus her last show is tonight until her next leg which is from the 19th October till 19th November. So she could do some promo outside of the US before and after the next leg of her Vegas show.
Although I don't really see Britney caring much about sales or chart positions these days. After everything she's gone through she seems happy and content just making new music and being able to put on a show for her fans and be able to spend time with her family especially her boys and not having to worry where she has to be or what she has to do.
I don't think she's an old hag now as I'm guessing you were wanting to put it? I also don't think she uses her life to sell records either. She or any other celebrity don't have a say over what is written and printed in the gossip mags or the press whether printed or online. Which is mostly rubbish so they will sell. Also I know before it's pointed out that she post pictures of her family days out etc on Instagram etc but what mother, father or whoever doesn't these days. Everyone is sharing their life these days and no one can stop it. However in Britney or other celebs cases these pictures are going to be used and mentioned in the media. I remember reading that Victoria Beckham was the most photographed celeb but I always thought that was a load of rubbish and before and especially after her breakdown it was Britney. She never seemed to be left alone by photographers.

I think it still is. I checked her wiki page (I know not reliable) and it said that she fell from 28 place from number 1 to 29 and was the lowest selling number 1 to that date but that has since been beaten.

I checked another forum I'm on and her sales for this week were 2,084 and looking at some of the sales they mentioned a lot of album were in the 2,000 mark even into the top 20. Sales aren't great these days apart from or until Christmas times comes around as people will be buying CDs as presents for people. Also she has the Vinyl of Glory being released in November. Not sure how many Vinyls they're making though.
