The article goes on to cite Scarlett Moffatt as a potential exception to the rumoured new rule, but I'd argue that Gogglebox, for which she's most well known, is not a reality show in the sense that I understand the term.

But back to CBB - it's been a constant refrain here over the past few years that most people have never heard of half the HMs, so this might go some way to addressing the issue.

I'd be in favour.”

Why ? - I don't have a clue who she is

Me neither, I've never watched the programme.
Having said that they had that George George Gilbey on CBB a few years ago, I'd never heard of him either!
Apparently watching TV in your own house now qualifies you to become a zeleb! ROLLEYES

If anything it'll mean that the ones that would have competed in I'm a Celebrity will instead do Big Brother...

...meaning MORE reality housemates.

Still not sure it will happen as Vicky Pattison has been given the itv2 jungle presenters job , which means she is also a step closer to a role in bb if Emma quits

I hope she doesn't ruin the Jungle with all her sex talk.

At this stage in the game Emma would be better off running away as fast as she can.
Let some other hapless saps take the fall for the demise of the show.

And I agree with every word of this.

Emma is the last bit of class this dire show now is - and she needs to go asap !

IACGMOOH still has some cache for those who are take part... CBB has absolutely none. It's a grubby, nasty, spiteful little show and no 'real' celebrity, with anything to lose, would touch it.

If they enforced a ban on reality stars, they simply wouldn't have a cast.”

On the nail as the show has been ruined past repair but still hoping. There have been interesting celebrities in the past but do not think so anymore.

I used to think that every year - but it never did - and never will.

It really is time to go into Room 101
