When Mike left the flat in 2010 he asked Neville to look after it.

A few months later, the set was reused as Ricky's dad's flat. (Not intended to be the same setting). After that story ended, there was no mention or it again.

Tl;dr I have no idea what happened to the set! Same as the O'Connor flat that got flooded and never mentioned again...

The Lomax extension which involved getting rid of the downstairs bedroom and doubling the living room (that never got mentioned on screen) happened after they moved into the house.

Houses/flats have always been somewhat of an issue in HO. With the Lomax flat, it was fine they removed that downstairs bedroom and turned it into an open plan dining room, made it feel much bigger, but then a few months later the living room suddenly got bigger and the kitchen all changed with no explanation at all, and the area has never even been used.

Also there is a severe lack of actual houses, we only have the McQueen house and the Roscoe house, everyone else lives in flats, which I know happens a lot, but a few more houses would be nice to see, maybe have a chance to open up a new area of HO with a few small houses, Amy Barnes and family could have one, as I couldn't imagine a growing family wanting to live in a little flat like they are in. The Lovedays could also move into a house, then Cindy and Dirk could move into the Loveday flat.

Yea I forgot about that house. Still only 3 houses for the vast array of characters in the soap.

Is James and Marnies home not the old O'connors? Sure I saw someone say it was.

HO lacks links to the past which in part is probably actor turn over to blame and in part random changes to sets. I still don't like the new Dog In The Pond and it looks nowhere near the size of the old pub which had so many iconic HO scenes.

The Lomaxes, Grace's and Tony's houses aren't flats, they all have upstairs floors.

It's not the same flat and it's not in the same location, but I'm not sure if it's the old set recycled.

They're living next to Amy and Ryan, but we haven't seen the interior to their place yet.

Yeah, I thought that the Lomaxes had a downstairs bedroom and it was all in my head then I remembered it used to be Brendan's bedroom and has now become an arch from the kitchen to the dining area and the whole space of a room that used to be there is now lost. The best part is the extended living room which just seemed to appear from nowhere!

Ah right I see. So completely different. I am sure i saw a spoiler pic of inside Ryan and Amys and it looked nice tho it could have been the old flat before they moved come to think of it.

The pub looks awful now. Its tiny and very cheap looking. It doesn't look anything like a real pub at all more like someone has build their own makeshift little bar in their garden shed.
