Voice dubbing?
Sorry if this has been posted before, - I can't find it if it has.
Anyway, can anyone tell me why they've started dubbing some of the auditions? It's so obvious and makes a mockery of the whole thing (even though we know it's all fixed anyway), but when the judges give their critique you can't agree nor disagree and the while thing sounds so fake. I thought the purpose was to find talent, people that could sing that didn't need to have their voices dubbed. I don't get it? |

The show struggles to find real talent nowadays so they enhance average singers instead, whilst ridiculing the rare talents that they do find.

That's what I figured. It's a shame, isn't it. If they can't find real talent, maybe they should wrap it up? (Like Simon Cowell would EVER agree to that, lol). Don't think I've watched it all the way through since 2012 so maybe they've been enhancing voices for a few years now, how crap.

Yes I've noticed that as well. It seems that the singers who get through are recorded in the studio and then dubbed over for the program. It's like a bad episode of Glee.
How to get through 1) Be spotted by a talent scout who will put you straight through to the a auditions. 2) Have a sob story--Anything from being bullied to your Nan dying. 3) Be reasonably attractive. |

It almost sounds like they've re-recorded the "audition" in a studio with producers and then dubbed this version on to the supposed live version.
One wonders where they will stop if they're doing this. Allow the groups to mime on the live shows? Seeing as there don't appear to be any rules and nearly everything is a smoke and mirrors job, it wouldn't surprise me. |

This is why they won't get rid of the backing track in the room auditions. It would then make it hard for them to dub over the audition. It's ridiculous. Also, they're not even good at dubbing as it's painfully obvious they've done it.
