I hope this is true. Even though I wouldn't know how to get them unless they were put on YT. Does STV Player work outside of Scotland?

I know one of the STV channels started showing High Road from the beginning not so long ago. I watched a few on YouTube.

As a TV company they are completly independent, owned by STV Group plc but have the ITV franchise. They have to buy the ITV programmes they show.
In the same way STV sells their programmes, e.g. Taggart, to ITV.

It works in England, Wales and Ireland. Depends on your Postcode (Scottish at the time )

I don't think this is a regular thing. It was shown on STV Edinburgh and Glasgow this week to promote 'Corrie on Tour'.

Who knows, if the response has been positive they may dip into the archive now and again.

This is the point I was trying to make about STV not being owned by ITV, thanks albeix.

Hopefully this is a regular thing. How do I watch these episodes living in North West of England?

No it isn't. Some programmes are the same as STV Glasgow but the whole region doesn't see them. They're specialist channels. They don't show much (if any) nationwide STV stuff.

Just watched the first episode, and it was MARVELLOUS. What an incredible writer Tony Warren was, you can see why it took off. The characters were so well rounded and believable.

I think this is just for the Glasgow set tour, I can't see them repeating the whole lot. I'd love them too but I can't see it happening.

That's very kind of you.

I remember that Granada Plus used to show Classic episodes, before being abruptly pulled off air for ITV3, which never picked them up.

Shame really as it would make a perfect home.
