Just watched Fridays episode. Which to me was one of the best in ages the emotion felt real. But what I'm wondering is it a first that 4 people have left Eastenders at once. I remember tom and Trevor and other people but never 4.
Will be interesting to see how this progresses, Louise looked genuinely upset he was leaving, was that because Mark, Courtney and him were all leaving on the same day or because of her feelings for him - which could never progress as Phil would rip out his liver and use it on himself.

I think it's more guilt. She blames herself for his rejection from the family

Yeah, I guess that's it, she admitted that Jay had kissed her which is what made Phil kick off, after that she said how it was her that tried to kiss him, but by that point Phil was beyond listening.

It's been all over the media press for months that Jay leaves on the back of a major storyline. I would take that to be his current descent into self pity and drug abuse.
