Both come with a 6 year guarantee; I'd say personally there's not much in it - the Samsung I'd prefer over the LG , but its more expensive and you might prefer the slightly bigger screen or the remote control of the lg over the samsungs.. sound quality might sound more beefier on the Lg? I don't know- .sometimes it might literally come down to that for choice

I bought the lg. I have a sound bar so sounds ok

LG as its a 43 inch and more the better if have room.
