Emmerdale Zak and Joanie, they have split up almost every couple in the past 2 years due to cheating which is bad enough but this was probably the worst.

Zak and Joanie for me too, worst soap decision ever... It would have taken the sting off a bit if they had at least an ounce of chemistry, but they have none.... I vomit in my mouth a bit when watching them kiss, it's just so unnatural and contrived. Watching all the stuff with Belle is just showing it up even more, him and Lisa are just so much better together. I truly hate that pairing!

Hollyoaks, killing off Lockie just cos Porsche was leaving, he was fun, and clearly had a bad past, brother locked up when young, drug addiction and he and JP were great together

Making Kylie kill Callum in coronation street

As soon as she hit him with that wrench it was game over for Kylie, being Callum's killer cos when a character kills someone in soaps (even just self defence) they always never get away with it and get some sort of comeuppance for what they've done

And also she never had it in her to kill anyone it was a big mistake to make her do it even tho she was saving Sarah's life

I think Callum should of been killed by Denton. He was after Callum for 20k anyway so straight off the bat you would think Denton would kill him. It would of made sense for Denton to kill Callum instead

Or maybe Callum could of gone to prison and come out a changed bloke

Splitting up Leanne and Peter in Corrie, there was so much potential between them and they were much better than Carla and Peter. All 3 characters went downhill after the affair storyline imo. Leanne became the bitter women scorned, Carla changed from the independent woman to a woman who relied on a man and Peter reverted back to the selfish alcoholic womaniser.

I know Peter's returning but I think that ship's well and truly sailed.

The casting of Emma Barton in relevance to her sons ages, Gillian is a good addition but not remotely believable as Roos or Pete mum due to her youthful appearance

Emmerdale - Robron. An even worse pairing than Zak and Joanie and that's saying something!

Killing off Pat Butcher when Pam was still fit enough to film guest appearances. June Brown left her role as Dot Cotton in 1993 when she was slightly older than Pam was and the producer of the day saw sense not to kill Dot. June returned for a guest stint in 1997 before then returning full time in 1998. Who knows, the same thing might have also happened with Pam and Pat could well have been back with us for another decade.

Agree with this. Once they went down the route of Robert hiring a hitman for chas and trying to kill paddy there was no wake to have them as a couple with out it being for the sake of pandering to their social media fanbase.

And worse than that it ruined Robert as an intresting charcther. I also never bought him as being attracted to men either, this was purely for sentsationilst reasons.

Killing off Pat Butcher is the worst soap decision ever. Pam St Clement could have made the odd guest appearance and returned for a big role.

The drawn out "Who Killed Lucie" scandal and the farce it turned into at the end with an innocent man framed, and damaging a few characters along the line.

The introduction of Gavin Sullivan and by rewriting the soaps history.

The character assassination of Pauline Fowler and her being killed off. I know Wendy is no longer with us, but I'd rather had an original character have a nice ending that she moved to New Zealand or went to America to live with Michelle.

'Killing off' Kathy Beale just so they could use it as an excuse to bring back Phil.

Not having Sharon push Gavin off that balcony. Would have been a much better ending for the character that would have opened up future storyline for Sharon rather than just running round after the other Mitchell's

I would have thought the worst soap decision was the BBC spending millions on a certain Spanish village.

Never before has a soap couple made me want to chuck my tv through the window - bleugh . Thank goodness they are over, now we just need Zoanie to end who are nearly as bad

This completely, the whole Tracy attempting to get a confession from Gail was tedious to watch, and totally unrealistic.

Also:
ED - Zak and Joanie, Laurel and Marlon.
CS - Tina and Peter, Gail/Eileen and Michael, the introduction of Michael.
