I think it is time to make up for the loss of a few strong, feisty woman. Ronnie & Roxy are due to leave in the New Year, Linda will be on a maternity break which could be up to a year, we have lost Shabnam, Lola, Bianca, Janine, Carol and Lucy all left in the last 2-3 years.

To me Stacey and the Slaters have ALWAYS been my favorite Characters and family. Kyle to me will be on the way out within the next year or so if there is no Character improvement he is heading downwards and fast in my eyes. So why not bring in both his Sisters, agreed would be silly if they came together but within 3-6 months of one another. Siobhan seems to be the more Fiery and Stronger of the two so bring her in, my guess is she will be around 24? And have Shannon be the oldest and wiser sibling who has a strength to her. So many stories could be told if they bring the new Slater girls in.

The trouble is that already I don't like them. They rejected Kyle when he was going through what was probably the toughest time of his life. Even if he forgives them I'm not sure I could. I'd rather wait and hope that Kat, Alfie and Lukecturn up next year.

But look at it from their point of view. Their sister Sarah became Kyle which means she no longer exists so it would be very tough and hard for them to grasp.
Also look at the many Corrie characters that didn't accept Hayley. Mike Baldwin didn't and everyone loved him so what's the difference?

Another thing why do they have to be nice characters? Ronnie, Roxy and Janine weren't and that didn't stop them from being a success.
Kyle is already on the border of pointless and seriously needs a big storyline so the arrival of his sisters would give him a purpose.

I would like to see Shannon, Siobhan, Alison and Luke all join the Slater's. It would be great to see Kat back too. The show is really missing her presence. She is one of the last successful characters the show ever produced.

I really don't understand that statement. Eastenders is full of criminals who have murdered, blackmailed, lied, robbed etc so what's the big deal with them introducing characters who didn't accept their brothers change?

Jim Branning was an abusive Father and racist but that was all forgotten when he became a kind, cuddly grandfather to Sonia and Robbie.

I would love to see the Slaters be reunited without a select few.

My Slater unit would consist of Stacey, Kat, Belinda, Siobhan, Luke, Sean, Kyle and Shannon.

Minor appearances from Mo and maybe a quick little comeback month or two for Little Mo or Lynne?

My biggest hope is that when the Carters finally get out of the Pub one day that The Slaters go in, I can just see the promo picture with Kat in the middle and Belinda and Stacey either side. Would be perfect in MY OPINION!

Absolutely! I really want the Slaters rebuilt. After Stacey had a lot of storylines during the breakdown of the Slater saga, it'd be nice to see the newcomers Shannon, Siobhan and hopefully Allison too, take centre stage with Kyle and Stacey take a background role with her Martin unit.

Belinda would work well as the level headed Slater matriarch, and partner her up with Max

Kyle could be axed.

I would prefer to see Kat and her adult Son in the show.

Stacey, Martin and family. I don't feel other Slaters are needed though.

I think Roxanne McKee would be perfect.

The problem is wherever Kat goes Alfie goes, and I'd rather never see him again than have Kat back. I'd rather see more Belinda development I think.

Kat, Stacey and Belinda would be enough for now agreed, but couple of years down I would like to see at least two more Slater ladies back, Siobhan and Zoe preferably.

We won't see Shannon and Siobhan now - pointless bringing them in now Kyle in leaving and I don't think Sean O'Connor will now.

Too bad that we probably won't see Alison Slater again (Denise Welch) with Kyle leaving. Her one off stint on EE was really good.
