That's not the best. The Best XFactor audition of all time was Liam Payne in 2008. The second best was Liam Payne in 2010.

Jamie was a good singer, sadly song choices like Sex On Fire always made him look like a karaoke act.

My Favorite is that woman who kept telling Simon
'That was very 'arsh, very 'arsh, very 'arsh Simon, very 'arsh.' |

His rendition of this beginner vocal student level challenge wise of a song was not bad,but it would not even make my top 100 list.

I think one of my favourites was that teacher Daniel something??? He sang "I get by with a little help from my friends" and it was a performance not just a song, really got everyone going

His audition was good but was it the best ever audition on XF - no it wasn't.

Ella Henderson, Danyl Johnson, Aiden Grimshaw, Rebecca Ferguson, Lucy Spraggan and Misha B are the others that stick out in my mind, although again they didn't all live up to them, whereas other acts blossomed through the competition. |

I loved Gamu's 'Walking on Sunshine'. Just brilliant. And she was shockingly treated on the show.

Jamie is easily one of the most underappreciated and under utilised talents the show has had.
He had some incredible moments and is definitely in my top 5 contestants of all time. |

The thing with Jamie is, while good,he was never going to stand out among great solo singers, but put him in a band as a front man, with his charisma and sense of fun ,and he'd be magic.

Danyl ![]() I voted for Jamie at the time, and got annoyed with Louis' stupid comments like 'You've got big hair and a small voice' Maybe it was the afro, but Jamie was like a 70's throwback to me. So was Series 1 Tabby - he was like the glam rock era. |

The funniest thing, watching the Danyl audition back, is how the production were so certain on him being this huge, surefire smash, probable winner of the show...

Public went mad over it; they stopped using it after the first episode, thank goodness. |

JLS did a fantastic first audition but the show turned them into a pop act rather than the R&B act they started off as.
Daniel Pearce was my favourite ever but he was in the same series as Danyl Johnson, Jamie Afro and Olly Murs and so didn't get through - wrongly imo. He's gone on to sing vocals on a couple of number one singles though so done better than some winners |

Definitely Jamie, love him! Some other greats...Journey South, Leon Jackson, Matt Cardle, Raign (never given a chance thanks to Cheryl the bitch). Started watching again now that the decent judges are back, so far I love Sada Vidoo and Tom & Laura
