Is Dannii Minogue EVER going to release any new music again?! I don't mean the odd charity single here and there, or the occasional duet with her sister Kylie, I mean a whole proper new studio album featuring new, original songs! I've been listening to her albums again from the 90's and early/mid 00's and she released so many good songs. It's a shame she wasted the past decade not releasing anything of any real note. I know she's been busy in Australia hosting/being a judge on some talent shows but surely she could find some time to record and release some new music. Even if it's just a series of short E.P.s every couple of months or so, like Charlotte Church has been doing lately. Really expermimental stuff. It would be cool if Dannii would do something a bit different too, music-wise, that would surprise a lot of people! Does anyone know if she has any albums planned for the not too distant future? I like Dannii and really want her to return to music full-time - or at least release a new album at least one every 3 or 4 years, if that's too much! Or the aforementioned E.P. idea. Please Dannii, come back with some great new music!

I definitely can't see her returning to music full time or even releasing a proper album again, sadly. The best we'll probably get it is the odd single but even that's doubtful. It's overdue, we need a musical comeback ASAP.

Sadly, I think being compared to Kylie in the media and Kylie fans put her off. It is a shame, because I like Dannii music She is also probably too busy bringing her kid up for music.

I've always found Dannii to be very underrated, and it's a shame she always seems to be in Kylie's shadow in some people's eyes, particularly when you consider Dannii was famous first. Neon Nights is a brilliant album that should have gotten to number one, it's very diverse and edgy, and has some great "pop" tracks like Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling, but also stuff that was more daring and different like Put The Needle On It. I still listen to I Begin to Wonder a lot, it's a really good single.

You Won't Forget About Me was also great. But it seems that they have.

The problem thing is with Dannii, not a bad thing, is she isn't fame hungry nor competitive (unlike Kylie, who is lovely, but she is career obsessed). She does her job out of passion and enjoyment . However , since becoming a mum her son is her pride and joy now and she wants to make the most of that . Her life revolves around her son now, which in hindsight is admirable as 90% of celebrities give up their child's needs for their own selfish career needs .

Dannii has been working on new music , but has said nothing is locked in . She did show case a new song this year at Melbourne , called Holding on (check it out on YouTube ). It's a duet and sounds so modern, hip, and nothing like the camp stuff she's done in the last few years . I was lucky to be their in the crowd and the song is a major pop hit, but sadly I don't think any thing will come of it . Dannii is seriously underrated as an artist , and as a singer . She was Amazing live, which I find ironic as the media and public (who haven't heard her live , bash her for it). Every singer has their bad vocal moments , as well as good ones . Yes Dannii has mimed on tv quick single promotions , but all artists do .

It's nice to see Dannii making a comeback to British TV, I thought she was brill during her stint on X Factor and she still remains the best judge for me. She seemed to have a dedication towards her acts that nobody else did in my opinion.
