The Mitchell wannabe mafia is some of the funniest television I've seen since Comedy Gav's fun house.
McBeale was as repulsive as ever. TPTB have got it completely wrong, the viewing public despise that she sits there moralising about parenting. Not nearly enough Lauren for my liking, but plenty of Courtney and hot Tilly ![]() Thanks. |

Grant returning again was great but the rest was awful as per usual.

Very good but I felt cheated not seeing Paul's funeral on Friday and also cheated that Colin and Sharon didn't interact in the Vic.

Would have liked to see Colin and Sharon sharing time together, still it was lovely to see Colin again. The rest was pretty meh to be honest.

An extremely strange week. The Monday and Tuesday episodes signaled an absolute low point for the show; bloated, absurd, contrived and offensive when you think about the original story it derived from (Paul's murder as the result of a hate crime.) Thursday and Friday were great. The best episodes I can remember this year.
I can only hope the consistency of the show improves under SOC. |

I thought the scenes with Colin were just beautiful. Very moving. I too would have loved a scene between him and Sharon. Maybe it wasn't needed though. I loved the scenes between him and Dot but the scene in the Vic was my favourite. This is a character from EastEnders when it was gritty and real with layered characters and the show was at it's best. Really well done.
The Mitchell Capers were quite funny weren't they. Running around all shouty. I imagine DTC knew Ross would never be returning as Grant so he knew this would be the only oppurtunity we would ever get to see a conclusion to the Mark Jnr story. It was ok I suppose. It wasn't the 20 year explosion we were all probably hoping for but without Michelle that was never going to happen was it. The one good thing to come from it all was the actress that plays Courtney Mitchell. How good was she? Could see a young Martine in her - lots of potential! Hopefully she will be returning to London very soon! Does anyone else not buy the whole 'We Is Brothers!' Bollocks from Ben and Jay? Honestly you can put a pair of Reggie Kray glasses on Ben and a shouty voice doesn't make him hard lol Also you're not brothers. You can shout about being brothers every episode for months and months. Doesn't make you brothers and they won't ever be like Phil and Grant. That worked very well then doesn't mean you're going to find that spark now. It's two different actors and it's also not the 90's! It was really nice to see Jay with a decent storyline away from Ben actually. How long is Jane going to be hanging around in that wheelchair for? lol At least her carer got a line in this week. (And I'm not talkin about the white variety) Maybe she'll be hanging out in the market with the market traders this week! PS could the carer please wash Jane's hair this week please. She's bordering on offensive ! lol |

Must have been a oversight. 😏Loved Friday's episode.....Grant and Courtney, Pam and Les, Dot and Colin, Colin and Johnny and Phil and Ben. It would have been better if Martin had driven Mark to the airport and was involved in the reveal as he is his closest relative. They hardly interacted the whole time he was there... didn't even say goodbye. |

It was great having Grant around and he was the best thing in it but wish he had interacted more with the rest of the square. I don't agree with Sharon telling Mark Jr not to go after Grant. It should be his decision, it's nothing to do with her.
I thought Pam was out of order having a go at Les. Any bad situation she seems to make all about herself and never asks how he is. |

How could I forget Pam?!!!
Fantastic actress (shame she got paired up with wooden Les) but suppose they work as a family unit. Think Pam could of been one of Walfords greats without the Paul/Les shapped noose around her neck! Despite that though I still loved the Cokers and their cross dressing shenanigans! I thought the actresses portrail of a grieving grandmother has been very moving. I'll miss all three Cokers once they have left. 😥 |

You've got to be pretty invested in your script to believe it deserves an epic sweeping shot like that!! lol lol Did they hire in the scriptwriters from Dynasty 20+ years ago!! |
