Highlights of tonight's double:
- Audrey's lines about Claudia giving free blow drys and Maria attracting the gays. - Drunk Craig - That sweet scene between Craig and Tim- they have a great chemistry together Everything else...meh |

So if he wasn't homosexual there wouldn't be a problem ? He gets accused of playing himself. I guess that he's just not the right kind of homosexual. Quote:
In fairness SULLA Sean is a horrible character regardless of his sexuality imo of course.

One of the worst episodes in a long time.
Craig's acting again was awful. Poor Liam having Maria as a mother he will need therapy when he's older Ozzie out acted her and Caz off the screen without saying anything. |

Up & down episodes last night!! Enjoyed the Maria/Caz stuff again even if Sophie helping her find Caz & bring her back was somewhat far fetched given Sophie's opinion of Caz!! The fact it completely pissed off the dreadful Kate made that SOR forgiveable!!
![]() Not keen on all the Sean's birthday party & him going into sulk mode again, though I did find Eva's behaviour despicable tbh!! Another character I'm liking less by the episode!! Continuing to like Craig/Faye & Craig/Tim, shame about the two mothers whining at each other though!! A 6 from me!! |

Wrong. The Non Christian Vicar made false assumptions without a shred of evidence She let him down badly Why ? I merely defend the constant unjustified attacks So if he wasn't homosexual there wouldn't be a problem ? He gets accused of playing himself. I guess that he's just not the right kind of homosexual. Horrible? Tracy Barlow is horrible but the people that attack Sean never mention her. Erm there's loads of Tracey Barlow hate. She wasn't in the episode last night though

Tonight's writing was much improved in places, though some irritation remains.
I thought the character interaction was tons better - for example I enjoyed the Faye and Anna scene at the start, the scene on the Street with Beth, Anna, Craig, Kirk etc. Some good acting and reaction shots all round there and characters were true to form. Also quite enjoyed the scene where Robert told Steph the table was for 20 and not 10 and she said "flipping heck!" in that sort of "oh god!" way. It was very convincing for some reason, where normally the Bistro scenes are painful. It felt quite authentic and made the business feel more real I suppose. Weaker scenes involved Sean's birthday things but luckily Rita and Norris were on form to rescue those scenes. Really find Billy and Todd storyline is like pulling teeth though, I honestly think Billy is my least favourite character in the programme right now and that is really saying something. He's just ugh! So irritating, I hate all those stupid Topman-cum-vicar shirts he wears, his face irritates me, his personality is more annoying than Fiz's (again, that's saying something) and I honestly think he is not the sort of man Todd should be with. I really hope he's written out as I can't stress how much I almost want to fast forward scenes with him in, and I NEVER do that. Love love loved Craig getting drunk and trying to convince Steph to let him drink more, and loved the scene in Sally's house where he was sick and Sally and Tim were in their PJs. Really good stuff. Oh, also the scene with Tim and Craig in the cab office was really well written. The Caz and Maria story is quite watchable (if circular). It's the storyline I'm enjoying most. I do feel sorry for Caz, especially with vipers like Kate and Sawphie glaring and glowering at her all the time, and people like Aiden trying to get rid of her. She's obviously insecure and just wants to be loved and appreciated. On that basis I think dippy Maria is being nice, but it's obvious things are going to get pretty dark in that SL as Caz really starts falling for Maria. What's the betting she finds out about Aiden and Maria somehow? Overall much better written double, most of the characters were written very very well tonight which makes a change. We can't like all the characters as that's just life but on Corrie if they're written well, the whole ensemble feels better. 6 out of 10! |

Really all you can ask from the show is that the characters presented are written & acted in character & I agree by & large that was the case last night!! Personal likes & dislikes are down to the individual & the Corrie ptb can't be expected to cater to that!! |
