Sadly, given HO love of killing characters off, they aren't very many really fantastic characters alive to bring back. At least not where they already have at some stage.
Jude was a brilliant character, one of my favourites from the early years along with Lewis (dead), Rob (dead) and Lucy (alive).
Carol could be a possibility - she's still out there somewhere but I'm not sure she'd fit in to current HO.
Jude was always quite scheming, glamorous, money hungry and larger than life so quite suitable for this incarnation. She should be able to cut quite a few of the characters down to size, unless she's lost her edge.

They'll have one happy ending, showing that it cam be survived, and one sad one, showing sometimes it can't be beaten.

I'll be an emotional wreck if that happens. Alfie and Jade are truly one of the sweetest and nicest characters in the show.
I agree about Hollyoaks being true to life so I think this will happen

There have been some great characters who shouldn't have been killed off. I would like to see Mizzy again but best she stay away.

I think it needs to be sad to bring awareness, if she randomly survives then it will bring false hope, Alfie already had the survival story line
