I love James, and I hope he does speak out against Mac. I hope when he does, Mac is left all alone.

I was wondering if Mac was actually his dad or possibly his step dad.

It's odd the way he treats him.

saw the beating on ch4 tonight and thought that might be where it was going.

James is a fantastic character

The scenes were so powerful tonight and Gregory continues to play a blinder.

However I am unconvinced that the reason Mac beat James was because he was jealous of the relationship he had with his mother. There has to be more. Though I don't want it to be a paternity issue. That's a bit of a cop out.

It also would not shock me if Marnie's known about this all along.

Poor James.

This is shaping up to be a great storyline. James is one of the best in the soap right now and The Nightingales overall are a great addition.
