It's not all that long ago that Sophie was in love with her best friend herself.

She kissed Sian for the first time, only for Sian to freak out about it at first, so if anyone knows what it's like to be in Caz's shoes at the moment, it should be her, and yet she was happy to encourage Maria and Audrey to laugh at Caz for "snogging the face off" Maria I can't tell you how much she irritated me in that scene...

I literally loathe everything about the character of Sophie. My most hated character on the show by a mile, such a hypocrite.

It was all a bit rich of sex pest Sophie calling others sick in the head. At least Caz is trying it on with a grown mature woman and not a vulnerable homeless teenage girl.

Sophie makes my skin crawl.

Sophie is annoying at times, but isn't it just lazy writing most of the time as it happens so much.

Rolling her eyes and giving Caz daggers every 2 seconds and what exactly did Caz do wrong She lied about the army but she was right to be concerned about Sophie's interest in Kate. It crossed my mind at one point that Sophie might be all over Caz. I mean she is virtually homeless and vulnerable and that is how Sophie likes them

And she moaned and sniped every second we saw her about Caz and then had the neve to act like Caz should be grateful.

The only reason Caz has ended up like this is because Sophie was obsessed with Kate.

I used to like Sophie, but in recent years she has become plain horrible. She is judgemental, a stirrer, unforgiving, shows no unconditional positive regard for others, little in the way of empathy...... I could go on.

Indeed. Is she still a Christian She doesn't seem to have any Christian values mind when she was a Christian she stole from her Dad so I suppose she was never much good at it.

Couldn't agree more, you've summed her up completely. I actually used to like her until Sian left, the character seemed to go completely downhill after that that, awfully acted aswell.

Caz was never totally innocent though. She struck me as controlling and bordered on abusive imo.

But sophie needs her ass beat.

It was just typical that they had to have her there at the salon to snipe on at Caz then for Caz to walk in on them laughing. It wasn't that long ago that she wad back and forth at the homeless shelter trying to help Maddie and excusing her every action. Now Caz is in the same situation and she is scum of the Earth ad far as Sophie is concerned.

Why is she so vile now?

Nothing likeable about Sophie these days. The have really turned her into a horrible character.

When is she going on her break? Feels like we have been waiting forever

Can't wait for her to leave, pity it's not permanently.

Well at least she did not setup a burglary just to make your supposed friend scared so she would let you come back and stay at her flat again

The way Caz threatened Sophie in the Rovers toliets a few months ago was horrible but no one on here mentions that

Sophie Webster is an absolutely vile moron. Hate these the contrived bullsh!t storylines she's given just to get a girlfriend, stalking Maddie at the homeless shelter, getting with her carer, carer ends up losing job. Now Sophie and Kate are obviously going to end up together, after she wormed her way in, basically poisoning Kate against Caz, now is always there to give her 10 cents worth when Caz messes up. She's a horrible character, just a hypocritical, sanctimonious predator.

Lets not forget the way she treated Jenny who was mentally ill and grieving the death of a child. She still shows no remorse or any compassion for her.

As usual with the haters, they are letting their dislike of the girl cloud their judgement. She could save the whole street from a fire in the rovers, and they'd still hate her!!!

I think with a lot regarding Sophie on here, its jealousy disguised as hate.

Hasn't Sophie always been to one to go after other women? She's the one who always does the first kiss!



And as usual with some posters, they let who they fancy on TV cloud their judgement and think these characters can do no wrong.

Why on earth would anyone be jealous of a character in a soap?

There's that word again, 'haters.' It's always used whenever someone can't accept a differing opinion.

And as for Sophie saving the whole street from a fire in the Rovers? Pssh, she'd be too busy prowling for her next girlfriend to give a toss!

Yes Sophie can be seriously annoying at times but that's down to the writers who it seems have no clue where to go with the character. As for caz well she's a very nasty piece of work which I'm sure we'll see just how bad in the coming weeks with what is clearly an obsession towards Marie.

Only because Maria guilted her into it and we saw Sophie trying to call a halt to the search and looking quite disappointed when they found her.

She was also happy to announce that she had only done it for Maria, in front of Caz, so making it very clear that she didn't actually care on jot for her welfare and she wasn't welcome back.

Sophie has turned into an absolutely horrid character over the past few years. Ever since Sian left i'd say, possibly a little earlier with the flirtation with Amber.
