I purchased a Cubot Dinosaur from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, SIM free & no bloatware etc. for £105 delivered.

It's the second Chinese non major branded phone I've had and it is absolutely fantastic, but then again I'm not a label junky and don't care what others on their expensive contracts think.

It's a 720 X 1280 pixel HD screen. No phone actually needs a screen of that definition anyway though, it's just sales & marketing blurb and similar to camera pixels - totally meaningless.

I completely disagree. A 5.5" phone with just a 720p resolution is going to look terrible. There's no doubt about it.

I'm looking at one now and it's crystal clear, as good as my son's galaxy.

A low end Galaxy I presume? Their pixel densities don't tend to exceed 250ppi.

BIB is the only one to go for, price wise relative to the Moto G4 there is no contest. It seems to come in different memory options too, 6GB RAM with 64GB of storage seems to be within your budget.

had my umi max a few days now and its a nice bit of kit.

display does matter, my old pics on 720p looked fine until i looked at the same pics in my umi (1080x1920) looked so much clearer.

also like the huge battery and ' sharp made' screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3

gyro works well on my headset, and didnt think i would bother with the fingerprint scanner, but now i do, just makes it so quick and easy to turn on.

dont want to praise the thing up to much as it may all fall apart next week, but happy for now.

looks good, but hope the screen is strong ,i specificly looked for a phone with a strong screen as my daughter drops every phone she comes in contact with.
we have a draw of phones with broken screens which i am sick of repairing.

at the moment she is playing lets see how many cracks she can get on her samsung.

You should try comparing it to a top spec phones screen/resolution - a 720p resolution on a 5.5" screen is not ideal and is more pixelated that I would like.
