It'd be funnier if it was Ross, this should be he's new thing keep have him him fathering children to the most ill suited of mothers, should be Tracey next! And as she gives birth the baby is wearing a "will you marry me t-shirt" ( I don't care if it would be physically impossible, this is Emmerdale where reality is an afterthought) with that dull moron David grinning next to her.
the baby would be wearing socks for instant paternal identification

No it's Pete's nickname on these boards. Don't worry, it proves the point that Pete is so forgettable!

I didn't mind Ross being Moses dad as but I don't think Ross should end up with another baby. As alcapo said, it doesn't suit the character of Ross to be looking after kids all the time. I just can't see this baby being Dan's though, this is a soap after all.
As for Kerry, why did they have to give her a baby plot? Isn't there anything else they could I think of for the character? Would be great to watch the drama unfold from that! |

To be fair they could easily get around the idea of Ross being the father of multiple children by brining back Declan and have Charity have lied about his parentage.
Would be great to watch the drama unfold from that! |

[quote=sorcha_healy27;83927612]Timing doesn't matter in Emmerdale
[/QUOTTrue sadly. But imagine the wrath of Emma if it turned out Charity had lied ![]() I ' m so tired of all the babies in ED though. Surely they could have thought of another story for Dan and Kerry? |

Baby storylines are the worst soap storylines in my view and are the laziest plots.
It's frankly ridiculous that this has to involve Ross too. |

Of all the men in the village it had to be Ross. Why not Pete? Or Cain? Or David or whoever? What irks me is that Ross was in a baby story last year. Why another one?

I'd rather a no baby storyline full stop. Or even Squire Robert would have been entertaining if they had to do it.

Squire Rob having a drunken shag with Kerry would at least have been amusing. His morning after face woulda been a picture.

Anyone else think she'll lose the baby? It would be a realistic plot point as people with diabetes are at an increased risk of miscarriage. I know this from past experiences. I'm guessing she'll find out its Dan's and will attempt to move on from her night with Ross, and fix her relationship with Dan, only for her to miscarry. It would fit the "dark storyline for Dan and Kerry" description as well.
Either way, I hope the fact that diabetes causes risk to pregnancies isn't just swept under the carpet for this storyline. I hope they don't cheat out what could be a unique storyline for more "Who's the Daddy" cliche drama. Where will they go with the story if it's Ross'? Emma desperately trying to get custody of the baby? Haven't we already seen that before? Ross has already been through the whole baby drama situation with Moses. Ross is a fairly good dad to Moses, all things considered, it was good character development for Ross IMO, but giving Ross another child would be incredibly boring. I hate the thought of Ross becoming Daddy Day Care to children he fathered with random women like the character of Jimmy has ended up. Why can't the writers try something different for once? And with the big Barton storyline coming up with James where will the writers have time to fit in a baby plot for Ross without people complaining he is being overused again? Maybe I'm just wishful thinking but I believe there are better storyline options for Ross, Kerry and Dan if it turns out to be Dan's baby. |

Could there not have been an unprecedented learning from the past and Ross actually having (and using) a condom?
I would hope he'd have some condoms with him and wasn't too overcome with passion for drunk Kerry to use one. |
