Since Bobby was charged with the murder of Lucy Beale and the assault of Jane Beale - things have been quiet for the Beales - but they've still had some drama. Kathy's been having a secret affair with Buster, while Steven has returned and wormed his way back into Ian's good books. But, an insurance scam gone wrong saw Steven sell the equipment from the restaurant, showing he's still not completely reformed. Ian applied for a credit card in Lucy's name, while Jane feels that Ian is ignoring him.

Sonia shares her exciting news, but how will her friends and family react? Carmel gets a knock back. Jane forces Ian to discuss what he is hiding.

Phil’s Cirrhosis
We already know that Ben wants to donate part of his liver to save Phil but there look to be a few complications, especially when Phil’s family fear he’s gone off the rails again - but Phil denies touching a drop. Will Phil still be able to be saved?

The (other) Secret Mitchell
We might have had Mark Jr come and go, learning that Grant is indeed his father - but Phil will also be the father to a secret kid. Following a one-night stand, Denise was left pregnant with Phil’s child but has insisted that Phil will never find out. If running to America won’t keep a secret safe, there’s no chance for Denise, is there?

The Cokers bid farewell
Since Paul’s tragic demise, the Cokers have been on borrowed time. Pam has finally accepted Les’ transvestism and Babe has stopped blackmailing them - but the two will be departing Walford later this year. And while it doesn’t look like Nancy or Bianca will be returning for the wedding, it appears that some of Lee’s army friends will be. Will they say ‘I do’? Will it be more dramatic than Mick and Linda’s? Will Johnny look good in his tux? At least one of those answers is ‘Yes’.

Evil Steven
Steven Beale/Wicks. He’s not known for being good, and it was revealed earlier this year that he was responsible for the break-in at the restaurant. Kyle knows his secret but will he try to use it to his advantage? And will that prove a big mistake?

Max is back
Max Branning was arrested and charged with the murder of Lucy Beale, but was vindicated when Bobby confessed to the square. He made a brief return to the square earlier this year - getting a shock return, black cab exit, and a duff duff in one episode - but, most importantly, he declared revenge on the Beales. His return will no doubt be dramatic.
