I like Claudette but she doesn't appear often enough to be missed. And frankly, even as a fan of the character, I can see DTC, Lamb and Batten destroyed the character by turning her into a remorseless murderer. As if that wasn't bad enough she's now dating the man who helped cover up her "murder". This show is a joke.
Goodbye, Claudette and your magnificent breasts. See you in a few years, Ellen, as a different character. Fifth time's the charm?
They backed Claudette into a corner when it was revealed she murdered her husband, Vincent's father, in cold blood. Really where she could go after that? She also had a hand in Fatboy's death.
It was too much with Ronnie, Bobby and his enablers around at the same time.

Four times as four different characters including Claudette actually...

Shame she's going as I liked her character and agree she had more potential. I also like Ellen (and her mammoth assets!) but her acting could be a little uneven. But when she was good, she was excellent.
Hoping she does make a return one of these days...
I've given up with EE but this news doesn't surprise me. They completely f..ked up her character over the Kathy return / link to Mitchells / murdering her husband / Fatboy etc. It was a shocking(ingly bad) storyline.
Having a character like Claudette being a long term foster parent was a good one. It could have produced a flow of characters coming into show (and going again) without having to create long lost / never mentioned relatives. A matriarchal character with an edge.
