absolutely stunning. I'd even go as far to say it surpasses the original!

Musically, there's nothing to the original tune, much of its appeal was the harmony and the tempo, like many of the disco tunes of the era.
Her voice is no better than many.
The repetitious piano did my head in, musically, no imagination. So I turned it off.

It's like one of those awful advert cover songs, the ones that take anything remotely creative or interesting about a original song out and turn it into elevator music.

It's not often that I find myself agreeing with Doghouse Riley but in this case I agree with everything he said. I thought it was awful and turned it off before the end.

Some up-tempo pop tunes lend themselves to be played at half-tempo. This ain't one of them.
One that is was is Neil Sedaka's "Breaking Up is Hard to Do."
It works well as a slow ballad.

My favourite has to be the Shirelles' MoTown tune, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow."
Carole King who wrote it later recorded it as a slow ballad.

I like playing that on my electric piano adding a few jazz chords and bits of improvisation, it has a fantastic chorus. (lots of "sevenths.")

It didn't send shivers down my spine. Can I have my money back?

I'm sure she's a decent singer but that treatment does nothing for the song at all. I couldn't stand the original to be honest.

Pretty much agree with the consensus on this thread.

I love the original though, it's an absolute classic disco tune. Think it's futile covering this song, nobody is able compete with those unique Bee Gees vocals.

I blame Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh for this kind of crap.
"Do it in your own style"
"Make it your own"
"Put your own stamp on it"
What would impress me would be if on X Factor you could only do your own tunes.

Didn't like it at all.

Like this remix/mashup someone did though with the original song.
