I know I'll probably catch hell for this, but I'm really starting to feel sorry for Sean. His BFF stole his boyfriend, he was forced to move out of his home, is stuck living with the old DL street gossip and Eva snitched on him to Billy for no good reason. The poor guy has no one on his side right now, it must suck to be hitting a milestone like 40 and realizing you really have no one to count on.

Aww that's nice, I feel torn, I like Todd and Billy but I don't like how Sean has been abandoned by everyone.

A depression suicide for Sean if done right would be golden

He hasn't been abandoned. He chose to leave Eileen's when she refused to choose him over her own son

He pretty much as though, while Eileen shouldn't be expected to choose him over her son, with Billy and Todd together did Sean really have any other choice but to leave? Watching your ex and BFF together would be torture

His behaviour when with Billy was childish. He couldn't understand Billy's job and in return Billy couldn't trust him with his problems. He's been petty with a lot of things and giving Eileen an ultimatum was very silly. It was his choice to live with Norris instead of staying in the front room he's lived in for years. No wonder Eva suspected he might be behind the complaint as she knew he'd cancelled the hotel booking. While Todd and Billy didn't set out to hurt him they did and it was awful for him but he has been rather immature about it all. I've gone from liking him to not being fussed either way to finding him a bit cringey. Todd can be an evil little shit but this time he got attached to someone and it wasn't a deliberate act purely to hurt someone like his previous exploits. Billy had already tired of Sean and was with him because he didn't want to hurt him. Being with someone out of pity is worse than dumping them. I do feel sad for him that it was Todd who ended up with Billy but a lot of it he brought upon himself with his attitude.

I get what you're saying but Billy put Sean in a really bad position, its pretty low to break up with someone to date their BFF. I don't think anyone in Sean's situation would handled it well and IMHO if Billy was really doing the right thing he'd have broken up with Sean but stayed far away from Todd.

The bloke's 40 years old for goodness sake .. it's time he manned up, accepted that another relationship has gone down the tubes and learned to get on with his life.

I can't stand all his mooning and moping around, all that wallowing in self pity .. no way will he find a suitable partner behaving like that. All the looking daggers in the world won't put back together what's already crashed and burned.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the unlikeable, irritating, bitchy, selfish, entitled, self-pitying oxygen thief that is Sean.

That is hard to do when your ex got with your BFF and you have to see them every time you turn around.

I agree with you but I also think their attraction was really strong and they would find it hard to stay away from each. I can't say I'd be happy if it was me and I'd probably be pathetically bitchy too. Sean can't keep on playing the victim though - he's also responsible for the end of the relationship. I'm not sure he's mature enough for a relashionship with someone in such a serious profession. Would he have been so pouty if Billy had been called away if he was a doctor? I think he would.

Anyway it's nice to "see" you Mark. How do you get current Corrie over there? Internet?

Then that should suit him just fine. Sean Tully has taken pleasure in other people's misfortunes in the past, and has been seen with a smug look on his face alongside Beth Tinker watching the misery unfold. But now it is him he is all self pitying and expecting sympathy, even though he isn't a nice person. I am happy Beth and Sean are getting what's coming to them.

I kinda feel bad for him too. I've always found Sean to be a pretty nice/sweet character, he's really been dumped on in all of his romances and never really deserved it. That being said, Billy was never a good match for him. They always put him with more serious professional guys, when he needs someone a bit ditzy like he is.

I don't think Billy and Todd put any effort into avoiding each other, if they really cared about Sean's feelings they'd have made more of an effort to do so.

Its good to see you as well and I download Corrie from a torrent site to watch it since Hulu stopped showing it
Yes I know but that doesn't make him abandoned
Ok maybe abandoned is the wrong word but its clear Sean doesn't have anyone on his side right now

don't feel at all sorry for him in fact I'm quite enjoying watching him revel in misery (does that make me evil??)

Sean isn't DL though, he is out and proud unlike Norris.

Why are you enjoying Sean's misery? He hasn't done anything to deserve this.

He just gets on my nerves so much, hes a child in a 40 year olds body and as somone on the thread said hes spent many a time watching, laughing and reveling in other peoples misery. so I don't feel sorry for him at all.

PS call me thick but whats a DL???

Sean does like to gossip but I don't think he revels in anyone's misery.

Oh and DL stands for Down Low, if someone is on the DL it means they are gay and hiding it or in the closet.
