Oh and DL stands for Down Low, if someone is on the DL it means they are gay and hiding it or in the closet.”
Thanks for the info guys, I didn't know that either!!
As for Sean I can see why Billy thought it was him after what Eva said, but he should have believed Sean when he said it wasn't him & certainly shouldn't come into his place of work causing a scene!! Disgusting behaviour for a man in his position!! Also however wrong the rules might be in the church, as a vicar he knows those rules & if he can't live by them then he needs to change careers!! In the Roman Catholic church, marriage is forbidden for priests so the C of E is not alone in draconian & outdated rules!! I am not at all sure that the Church would look too kindly on a vicar 'cohabiting' in a heterosexual relationship either so it's not just homophobia, though admittedly 'a parishoner' would probably be less likely to complain about it at a guess!!
The worst culprit in all of this to me was Eva!!

I'm sick & tired of her sticking her big neb into other characters' business then coming across all 'wounded' when said characters pull her up about it!! All she had to do was approach Sean & he is such a transparent character she would have got out of him in a few seconds whether it was him or not!!
To betray a trust like she did was a thoughtless & downright nasty thing to do & Sean has every right to be angry & bitter about it!! I really don't like Eva's character at the moment & am finding her far more irritating than Sean tbh!!
