He lied almost constantly to Sean in their relationship. He didn't tell him about his brother for absolutely no good reason and he messed up dates and their holiday even over it but for some unfathomable reason only Sean is criticised for being childish and demanding. Perhaps if Billy had treated Sean like an adult and an equal and properly informed him of what was going on in his life Sean may have been as big a help as Todd was.
I think Billy always fancied Todd and in fact went to him with his problems to pave the way for something to happen. He is a dreadful person and Vicar in my view. He is nosy, untrustworthy and immoral. I wouldn't say I feel sorry for Sean but I would say Sean is actually in the right over all of this and since being dumped and going through the humiliation of Billy getting off with Todd of all people he has actually acted relatively
maturely.”
At best Billy certainly isn't the right man for the profession he is in!!
For a start he broke the biggest rule in the book & betrayed Sarah's trust over her Callum admission, to make matters worse it wasn't even fact, just his assumption!! It REALLY wasn't his place to go blabbing to Todd, quite apart from breaking his religious oath!!
Corrie really are clueless about what it means to be a clergyman, for one thing in this day & age they simply don't have time to be out drinking in the pub all the time & harrassing people in their workplaces!! Does the guy actually do any pastoral work or is he on a one day a week contract!!
