I feel that this has been too hasty and is far too soon? Anyone agree?

I disagree, I feel his axing is no great loss. He has done very little in a year. I find it a shame that EE cast a transgender actor only for him to idle his time away with no real purpose. Makes all feel a bit like tokenism.

He hasn't had much of a chance to do anything yet

Yes I think it's far too soon. I like Kyle and was hoping for so much more from him. It's a real pity they didn't try to use him more and keep him longer

I am disappointed because his character had potential but unless his siblings were brought in, I'd struggle to see a place for him.

The sad thing is it means his sisters and mother are less likely to appear!

He's related to Stacey and therefore a Slater. I thought that was more than family enough for him and a place for him was already there. Sadly they just decided to barely use him

I think the whole decision is too quick he could of had more of a story to tell, I doubt this will effect if we see Siobhan or Shannon though, I highly think we may catch a glimpse of them coming into it soon.

well what a waste. DTC hired him for publicity and nothing else. SOC though is 'playng safe' with his axings IMO.

The new producer could of tried to make something of him though, makes the Brian Fowler secret family storyline and reveal like shite..

He wasn't working out because they wasn't giving him anything to work with, his character was just flatlining and fast..

We haven't even got to know him properly - and now he's axed.

I thought they intended to bring his mother back played by Denise Welch.

Did he not have that storyline when his mother turned up and did she not know he was Transgender

I don't think it was ever confirmed his Mum Alison would return but Welch always said never say never, but she could come in for a visit with her other daughters if they wanted to suss out and meet their secret sister..
