Welcome to The EastEnders Episode Thread for the 15th September 2016

Quick op for me tonight guys, as I have last minute meeting arranged for tomorrow!

In this evening episode

Denise turns to Carmel for a heart-to-heart

How much will Denise give away?

Denise strikes up an instant bond with her English teacher when she attends her first class.

Denise even invites the teacher out for a drink, but she has to change her plans suddenly when Carmel gets drunk and she's forced to look after her.

When Denise and Carmel talk about their problems, will any truths come to light?

Meanwhile, Mick wants to take Linda's mind off the Ollie situation, so he makes big plans for the upcoming darts match at The Vic.

I liked her to begin with, but she just seems to bump along doing nothing or saying nothing of consequence. The writing team does need shaken up, far more than the characters imo, I don't approve of the way SOC has begun his reign, I think he's treading dangerous ground

Carmel had lots of promise but shes become a bit toffee like.. Puns aside, D and Shirls talking about phill's secret baby would be EE gold

As someone who tuned in to every kirkwood and newman episodes i am struggling to motivate myself to watch.
