I don't know how a permanent return would work, but I'd like to see Tanya back for a guest stint as part of Max's return. There's potential there for material with Jane, as well as Lauren and Abi.
I'd love Janine back but only on the condition she buys the Vic and is landlady.
I think that is naturally the next chapter for her character otherwise it will be treading old ground for her.

Tanya is needed back for a number of reasons-
she turned her back on her Mother
she turned her back on her Daughters
she needs to know that 'Best mate' MacBeale sent Max to Prison!
Janine should definitely come back, having said that though what would her s/l be. I was just reading about her on Wiki and she has done everything!
I should imagine TPTB were miffed when she left the show, never a dull moment with her!
Sean should also come back, if only for the eye candy!
Mark and Courtney too, they have real potential.

I doubt Ben Hardy is going to return. He is signed up to more X men films and has two other films lined up. He's a busy lad. Albert square is likely the last thing in his sights. Let's be realistic.
They need to hurry up and get Redwater on TV so then Kat can come back, with or without Alfie. Kat was amazing last time SOC was around and I'm sure she would be again reunited with him.

How old would her daughter be now? I can't decide if I want her to be a total mini Janine or the complete opposite of her mother.
Agree The Vic has to be Janine's next stop. Now that Pat has gone the only realistic way you could get her back is buying the one thing she always wanted, the pub.
