Oh, that song. Right, thanks. (Of course I knew that - it just slipped my mind for the moment. )

You'll have to explain that one to me...."Stan"???”

I must have agreed with you at the time!

I find any unfair criticisms and incorrect assertions provocative, especially when the target of such isn't relevant to the discussion at hand. And sometimes I respond to correct the assertions and point out the unfair.

I like to think I'm even handed and it's not just SM that I (sometimes) defend. When I'm critical, I try to make it about the writing or the performance or the production, and not about the person's character.

And here's me thinking Eminem was a small chocolate confection, similar to Smarties.

I enjoyed it the first time around.

It's one of my least favourite episodes. I found it really bloated. The story felt stretched and padded out as it had to be longer as a "special", but there wasn't much to it.

I really disliked the two main guest characters. Lee Evans' character was annoying and hammy. Michelle Ryan's character was a pretty horrible person really. She's a spoiled, selfish little rich girl who steals just for her own amusement, and we're clearly supposed to be cheering her on when the Doctor not only lets her get away, he aids her escape, and I can't see any reason why we're supposed to be pleased about that, but it looks like we are. It probably cost a fortune to transport a bus all the way to Dubai, but I don't think it translated onscreen, I doubt it would have been any worse if they'd have just filmed in the UK.

I just don't think there is anything to like about this episode.
