I don't understand it either, and I find some of the postsin this thread where people act like THEY JUST KNOW every single detail about Cheryl's sexuality extremely creepy.

Agree. It's quite disturbing how some present their opinion as fact and offer the flimsiest 'evidence' as proof. As you can see by the post re biffa, even making up absolute rubbish to suit their agenda of outing a woman I'm pretty sure they don't know personally.
Why waste so much time and energy on the sexuality of someone they'll never meet?

I find it downright weird people care so much, and really worrying anyone thinks they should be so intrusive toward total strangers.

I think social media has a hell of a lot to answer for when it comes to blurring healthy boundaries between celebs and fans.

Twitter seems to be the main culprit, enabling fans to communicate directly with their idols and people associated with them. A subsection of 1D fans apparently sent gay porn pictures (featuring Larry of course) to Louis's underage sisters.

Twitter also causes some dimwits to think they are in actual contact with their favourite celebrity, if said celebrity responds to something they have tweeted. A lot of celeb twitter accounts are run by their PR team.

The more hardcore fans feel that they actually know the person, when in fact, they only know the personality presented to the public.

None of us know what Cheryl is really like, and unless some of the posters on here are friends of hers in real-life (in which case, get off the internet and respect her privacy!) then they can't state with certainty that she is a closeted lesbian.

Yet they do, at any chance they get and THEY ARE RIGHT.

I find it scary that people act like this and won't hear any reason. Some, I think, are ill but for others it's that troubling sense of entitlement that seems to be so prevelant in the world today and I see it only getting worse as social media continues to deliberately blur the boundaries.

They are obsessed with outing pregnancies. It is driving them mad that Cheryl won't confirm it.

The Ziams and Larries are going berserk over that pic of Liam scowling, saying he's angry at Simon Cowell for insisting that he has a fake baby with Cheryl. Any natural resentment towards paps is interpreted as misery due to enforced stunting.

They're also rattling on about Liam calling the paps himself to 'further the narrative'.

A grown woman, who is 33 and can get any man she wants, I'm not sure why she has resorted to a 24 year old, 24 is still a kid to 33 in my opinion, but not as bad as 17 to 33 with Harry and Caroline. One embarrassing couple Each to their own though.

He is young but he's worth £33m and does the same job as her so they are well matched. She spoke about wanting kids with JB and even with Ashley so she's definitely ready and we'll just have to see how it goes with Liam. He can ask Louis for advice!

Liam comes across quite mature, I think, he's lived a completely different past few years, than many young men his age. He's been in a few long term relationships before. He's in the same industry as Cheryl, too. I think they have quite a lot in common, added bonus is, that both have their own money and fame, they're on equal setting.

I knew completely who I was at 24, I wasn't a child in the slightest.

He's probably a better match than say a 33 year old regular plumber would be. But we've seen the wee lad grow up in the media and I still think of him a bit like that. But there again, the people I know in their early 30s seem young to me as well so...

Liam isn't 24 until next August but he's had two long term relationships already and never played the field the way Harry and Niall have. I still wonder what happened between Liam and Sophia Smith as he adored her and their relationship came to an abrupt halt having survived two world tours. Possibly Sophia was years away from wanting kids and Liam wasn't, who knows? Young celebs with older female partners sometimes do have children at a young age and it works out alright for a while - Jude Law springs to mind.

But then I can't help but think the saying nothing is an attention seeking strategy in its own way. A simple statement confirming it followed with a request for privacy. She certainly isn't getting privacy this way by being papped at events, it gets people talking and she knows that. Cheryl is very quick to take the media in hand when she wants to, like the nightclub toilet picture that was removed quick as you like.

But this way by saying nothing she is getting column inches. If she is pregnant (and that picture today is pretty clear!) then an announcement/6 page spread in Ok if that's what she wants and people would talk for a day or so and then she would be old news.

As much as I hate to agree with Lorraine Kelly, they can't hide it forever!
