He's not supposed to be allowed to have a gun again.

Probably just as well.

But he’s not an ‘accused’ is he? He’s a convicted murderer. Also his current state of ‘liberty’ will not be affected because he doesn’t have any – he’s in prison

His liberty won't be affected .
He's banged up now , will be banged up during the decision making process and will still be banged up when the more discerning, intelligent and awake judges hand down the decision to bop a few more years onto his ridiculously short sentence for murdering Reeva . Totally banged up for the foreseeable .
Anyway hopefully we are not treated to more court room dramatics from him and here's hoping he stays tucked up in cell block whatever chewing his nails and reading his bible .

My son lives in a gated community in Barbados, I'm sure I've mentioned it before. While nothing like as violently crime ridden as S Africa , knife crime and burglary are prevalent. Your property and family security is paramount. You do secure your home, you do use every security measure in place , you don't have lapses of memory re your home security because opportunists are everywhere. Criminals in S Africa are like criminals everywhere, they are not breaking in to murder you, they want items that will be valuable to sell including guns. It's violent theft. No one knew that more than Pistorius and this pathetic excuse is actually sickening.

Now why do you possibly think that anyone in their right mind would wish to ponder over the diatribe of Ellen B a well-known Pistorian.

Anyone who, as she claims, searches the whole trial record to find any reference even obscure innuendos to show Gerrie Nel branded Pistorius a liar is clearly a very obsessed and disturbed person.

We know he is a liar, nothing new there, except it seems Pistorians still seem to have a problem accepting it and need to produce many thousands of words in an attempt to 'justify' their denial.

The excuse is indeed sickening.

It is also an insult to the intelligence of most people. Pistorius actually expects people to believe he thought there was an intruder in his toilet, doing what? Got took short perhaps or maybe pinching his toilet roll, even worse rearranging his magazine rack.

It’s too stupid for words but was of course given the circumstances the only option he could come up with quickly after deliberately murdering Reeva. Even worse some people are stupid enough to believe him!

Exactly. What is even more sickening is the psycho may have told Reeva he was going to blame her murder on an 'intruder' story. This is possibly why she had her hands raised towards her face in fear and in protection. What an absolute lying bastard he is.

Another "Lost Soul", who may need more help than their hero.

lost soul

"somebody who has no direction in his/her life, a lost soul can have many acquaintances but never any real close friends. often a lost soul will long for someone to understand him/her, and because it is hard to understand the mind of a lost soul, often one will think he/her is mentally unstable, especially in today's culture and society"

"Your lost soul will not take you anywhere in your life."

I thought it was OP's aunt Miki who called Labuschagne to the scene. She is a criminal profiler and they had been colleagues. I understood that he described himself as a "family friend" when he met OP. This all took place very early on, of course.

That’s correct.

But hey! When you are a Pistorian why let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Pistorius himself certainly didn’t

Do you actually think this is interesting and worth pondering over?

It seems to me to be propaganda and a very circumlocutory way of saying 'Pistorius is a victim and there's a conspiracy against him'.

Is that what you really believe?

I have spent time working in SA and have friends and acquaintances there. They know about the crime situation in SA (more than we in the UK or wherever). They live with it and have to deal with it. They all have security to greater or lesser degrees depending on circumstances, and have to decide what is prudent.

For what it's worth, non of them believe Pistorius' explanation of what happened.

Any of them legless and need a gun to protect themselves?

Why do you think he slept with the doors open and A broken window, if he was so worried that someone would break in?

Surprised at you Porky, that’s the sort of exaggerated response one would expect from a Pistorian apologist. Are you coming out of the closet perhaps?

In fact the only time Pistorius was ‘legless’ was when he used to get smashed down the club with his dubious mates.

Otherwise he has shortened legs on which we all know he is perfectly capable of being mobile. Unless of course he is putting on a cringe worthy act in court to evoke the sympathy of Masipa.

Also as you mention the ‘need’ to protect himself perhaps you don’t realise only 12% of South Africans actually own guns. So an awful lot of people find no need for firearms to protect themselves especially I would imagine those who live on high security estates. I would suggest the need for Pistorius to own a gun and carry it everywhere was nothing to do with personal safety but all to do with the need the act out the macho urban cowboy image

Well the very fact that he got upset at the policeman touching his 'weapon' after shooting it out of the car roof would give one a clue on his he felt about his gun!

And wouldn't any sane reasonable person in his situation , allegedly vulnerable, been ultra careful and ultra safety conscious ? Well one would thinks ! But oddly not Pisto, windows open , doors open , dogs that didn't bark , a house servant who heard nothing. A superfluous security system and guards.
Poeple who are afraid take all possible means to make themselves and their families safe.

Snipped to avoid answering the question?

So do you believe the article in that it portrays Pistorius as a victim and there's a conspiracy against him'.

I guess you must as you are peddling the Pistorian drivel

No... Snipped to answer a specific question. The first one.

Your assumptions are as inaccurate and deliberately provoking as ever.

Funnily enough I thought your posting that preposterous article was rather provocative.
You posted it in the almost certain knowledge it would be rubbished for the rubbish it was.
I credit you with more acumen and would have expected that at the very least you might have commented/discussed the points raised in it and which you thought were worth pondering over. I would appreciate your thoughts on it and then we could at least discuss it.
