Might do the same as Glory. Debut at a high position due to a loyal fanbase, but drop down the charts very quickly.

I think it will hang around a little bit longer than Glory did but I do see it dropping super fast.
I wonder if overhype has killed Gaga because people now expect too much from her. I've always felt she got more credit than she deserved in the past. Once the bar is set so high its hard to come down. Plus I think sections of her fanbase attacking every other female artist under the sun with such hate alienated Gaga from other fan groups and she lost her cross music appeal. |

The days of dropping a single one day then releasing the video two weeks later are coming to an end.
OT: I didn't like the song at first, then after a few replays I've come to like it. |

The song titles are interesting. When will it be available for pre-order? I'll get the deluxe edition.

Probably an even bigger flop than Artpop. The Flop single won't have helped.

She overdid the exposure in her early years & I distinctly get the feeling she's not an artist young people are interested in these days. They've moved on. A lot of casual older fans have dropped away too. I think she has finished as a major force in pop despite her doing SuperBowl next year. |

She performed her first tour stop in Nashville last night and did only new songs along with Perfect Illusion. So now we've heard A-yo, Sinner's Prayer and Million Reasons. I like them all so far but need to hear the finished version before I make my mind up. I don't know whether she countrified everything because she was singing in Nashville but so far sounds very country popesque to me.

There's still lots of songs we haven't heard so maybe not the whole album is like that. I mean I wouldn't describe PI as country pop... I liked Ayo a lot, it sounds really fun! It's obvious she's going for something completely different with this album, so those wanting electropop dance tracks are going to be disappointed I feel.

I wonder if she is going down the country route because its a big market in America so if the album flops elsewhere it should still sell well over there to save face. She is at a crossroads in her career now in that she doesn't know what she wants to be. Being a jack of all trades is all well and good if you have the talent to pull it off but truthfully she has never been the groundbreaking artist many see her as. Its a bit transparent but Gaga has always been way too obsessed with her own sales and stuff so I can see why she has opted for this.

She really has got a terrific voice but I think she overdid the attention seeking "arty" stuff so turned lots of her mainstream audience off. It would be a shame if her career burned out because she's very talented. She maybe should concentrate more on her music and less on the image.

Million Reasons is basic and repetitive. It would be pleasant without the horrible "give me a million reasons" bits repeated like a stuck record.

I think Million Reasons is lovely
I haven't listened to the live versions of A-Yo and Sinner's Prayer, I'd rather hear the album versions and then comment.
