But yeah, so looking forward to the return of the Winchester boys!

Is this the official(ish) US pace thread?

Okay, so I looked at the spoiler and I am seriously puzzled. To be honest, I stopped watching midway through season 9 but

How is this show still airing

I gave up on it years ago, though occasionally I would watch a single episode during a moment of weakness...I haven't even thought about it in a couple of years now.

Any chance of Charlie returning from the dead?

I wouldn't mind watching another episode of the show.

It would have been fantastic if it was - possibly the most perfect piece of casting ever

It's actually ..

Season 11 went back to basics for a lot of episodes and really improved. Its still very popular and I wouldn't be surprised at a season 13.

The president of the CW has basically said they'll keep renewing the show as long as the cast want to keep making it, so there's really no end to how long it'll go on.

There's been talk that they want to get to 300 episodes and call it a day though, so - i think - that'll pretty much guarantee a 13th season at least and however many episodes it takes in season 14 to hit 300.

All that power, and she couldn't do the same with Dad, huh?

I don't mind that character returning, but for me, the show is about the Brothers, Castiel, and Crowley. I can't see her sticking around as a main character for very long.

I would also agree that the last season or two has been quite good, it was a bit rocky around Season 7 or 8, but thankfully has found it's place again. I'd be happy for them to call it on the 300th episode.

I have a funny feeling they'll be able to get Jeffery Dean Morgan back for the series finale, or at least the last few episodes maybe.

I imagine he'll be with The Walking Dead for at least a year or two so his schedule could feasibly free up at just the right time.

Where does supernatural go after Amara? Who the hell is gonna be more powerful than her. Love the show but not sure how much more they can get out of it. Although if they keep making it I'll keep watching it.

I've also gotten to the point now where I'll probably keep watching it regardless. They've done so many storylines now where the main protagonist is painted as an unstoppable, world-ending, undefeatable force but they always manage to come through and find a way.

They've also died and been resurrected multiple times as well so it all becomes a bit "meh" in a way, even though it's still a very watchable show.

Personally, I think they could get away with a reboot of sorts. Have someone, or something, send them back in time where the past is altered in such a way that it can't be undone, so everything in the present is reset and changed in some fashion.

The show has been going long enough that I'm sure they'd get away with it.

I would hate that!

I, alike many here will continue to watch this show regardless of how mad it gets. I've stuck with it this far. After Amara though? That's a tough one, but then this past season wasn't just about her, it was about a number of threats.

This new season will have Lucifer back, so that's some serious character development there; he's made peace (of sorts) with God, and now, being free from Hell, has to find his place. Would be good to see Michael back at some point too (also in a new vessel) but I wont hold out too much hope for him; he probably wont be seen again until he's needed.

Between Lucifer, Mom, and whoever has Sam, I think we'll be on for another rollercoaster ride.

It was said the Men of Letter UK/EU chapter who have Sam.

I think we need Death back again. Can't see Michael returning at all. They sort of said he was a dripping idiot. Even God wasn't interested in him, didn't ask about him or seem to care.

We did get back to basics episodes in season 11, it would be fun to have more of those.

I wonder what it is that they're after...

Yes to Death, but ... can Death be resurrected? If he was, pretty sure he'd be quite pissed at Dean.

Regarding Michael, I'm putting that down to a loophole. God didn't seem to care about much as it were. It was ironically Metatron (the least Angel with the least morals and principles) that set God on his redeeming path. I will be somewhat insulted if SP ends (if/when) and they leave Michael there. He needs to return at some point.

If they're ever going to go bigger, it's going to have to be a galactic scale; maybe God and Amara have other siblings, or parents, or whatever...
