The Unconventionals shone at vocal harmonies - so week 1 they were given an upbeat song where they all sing individual parts Plus camera shot were everywhere so it looked chaotic.

What was Louis thinking of

I can't do it for every series because I forgot who was in them but these are the acts I remember being harshly treated by the show.

1 - Nikitta - She was always given horrible song choices throughout, Simon clearly wanted her out ASAP to give Leona a clear run. IMO if Nikitta enterred in any other year she would have won.

2 - Miss Dynamix - As soon as one of them announced she was pregnant their time was up.

The treatment of John Adeleye was when I fell out of love with TXF. The lack of airtime was one thing but the looks of shock and disappointment from Simon and Cheryl when he absolutely nailed "Song for You" was shameful. They were so begrudging in their feedback of what was a very good rendition of a difficult song - even Louis looked uncomfortable at how good the kid sang.

I probably wouldn't have taken too much notice except the following week it was strongly rumoured that he had been practicising a song all week only to have it changed to "Zoom" on the Friday before the lives. When I heard/read that I was disgusted. The guy was obviously a threat to "someone". Ok, he messed up in the SO but, the unnecessary pressure they put a talented singer under was nothing short of cruel.

That was the year I stopped voting and/or transferring my vote when someone left because the penny finally dropped that talent had very little to do with how well someone could do in TXF.
