I am having free calls on 02

Put a 02 sim card in my phone last nite, and ever since then I have been able to make calls and send texts even though the balance is showing 0.00.
So whats happening and is this going to last hope it does

I've had this quite a few times. I got some of those £10/month free texts and Wap sims that O2 are giving out. I haven't tried them untill now. Unlike my others they didn't need activated with a £10 top up. I can send texts and make phone calls. My balance always comes up £0.00 though.

Nothing to do with this post just your User CP services, isn't AOL Broadband Gold 1Mbps and Plantinum 2Mbps

maybe if u top up with £20 you'll get £10 worth of calls/texts? Only a thought, but i doubt if o2 would give away free calls, especially as the sim needs to be activated by £10 initially. Enjoy while the going in good

I just opened one ofn the ones i received yesterday and no such luck here!!

What are the first five digits of the number as it could be something to do with this maybe as i have heard that quite a few people are getting this?

my m8 has also got the same thing. He just put in the brand new sim and realised that he could call people, even though he has got £0.00 credit..

If anybody else has got the same thing happeneing, please could they PM me with the first 5 digits of the number, and if it is the same as my m8's, i will tell you...

the first five digits were 07724, but after making about 4 hours worth of free calls yesterday after a rather long phonecall this morning it wont let me do it anymore shame it was good while it lasted well I wish i had kept my other 07724 sims as would of spanked them as well.

no all i did was put the sim card in and then tried to make a call, then it let me make the call so thought whoopee, I would open one and then try it, if it works go for it but as ive just said this only worked for one day by the looks of it, come to think of it it was it was exactly 24 hours, do you think 02 could be up to something

My sim card has been giving me free calls and texts for 3 days and is still giving me them! It keeps telling me that my balance is low and then just connects the call anyway! Woohoo! and i've got more sims to spare....!

If you go to the O2 Homepage, you can download ringtones, games and wallpapers for free. I downloaded a ringtone and video! It's great!
