How could EE shake things up?
So Corrie has had a tram crash, Emmerdale has had the plane crash, what could EastEnders do that would allow a realistic culling of the cast, give it a bit of a shake up and allow a fresh beginning?

That is not the route EE would go down, and I think with the BBC budget cuts they'd be limited anyway.
I think low key exists for some of the lesser characters, and perhaps medium to big for the bigger names. A shake-up that's needed is with the writers, having the right cast and having the right people overseeing the show. Not disasters!! |

I wouldn't want them to waste their budget filming stunts which have little impact after a few episodes like most of the big stunts on the other soaps.
What EE needs to do is to write compelling, original storyline and have a strong focus on characterisation. |

Shake up?! There's enough people leaving already that's causing a shake up in my opinion! Like others have said, I'd be more than happy with some compelling stories

How about a dangerous serial killer stumbling into Walford. Several characters die over the course of a big week in dramatic scenes, accumulating in several long term favourites being held hostage in the Vic once the police arrive?

Big stunts are so 2010-2013!
The creation of Dynamic long term characters is needed because it's becoming repetitive every new EP mainly clearing out the previous EP's new creations and setting the stage for their successor to do the same. |

Doesn't have to be a big 'disaster'. How about a hostage situation?
Lol just saw the post above! |
