That a quick but I like it! Not keen on the production, slightly lacking some oomph on the chorus but overall good

This is the problem with all the voice winners. You never see any promotion. Their labels assume they will sell their music based on their win from the show and name alone. That isn't how it works.

This is exactly right. I feel like Stevie McCrorie's album is one of the best I've listened to in 2016 but it's gone completely under the radar because the BBC haven't bothered promoting it. A real shame.

Aren't there some sort of broadcast regulations which hinder/prevent the BBC from promoting The Voice contestants (and other interests)? Maybe the costs of the promotion can't be justified under the license fee? I seem to remember some people commenting along the lines of this when it was announced the BBC would air The Voice.
