To be fair it was dropped outside a secure hospital, which appeared to have very little foot traffic. The thing that I found unrealistic was that, having seen him throw it, she didn't go and retrieve it immediately.

I don't think she wants to change him, she wants to be with him, even as a partner in crime.

Lighten up ,it's a story told so that we the viewer know about what his past life etc. has been about

It was a secure psychiatric unit / hospital, it had security and a barrier before the entrance and it's not unreasonable to believe that there were few or even no visitors / staff (and no casual passers-by) using that particular entrance that were observant enough to spot a folded note to the side of the path.

Even so, I'm with the person who commented that Stella would have gone down to look for the note immediately and before her discussion with the doctor - though nipping down to see what Spector had thrown away would have presumably taken a while - to get in and out through the security routines.

This is picky of me but I think it's an overwhelming infatuation rather than love. Plenty of teenagers get infatuated by someone unsuitable but normally it's the leader of the local biker gang or teenage criminal from the dark side... fortunately not many teenagers run into a charismatic serial killer while babysitting his kids.

But does Katie believe he is the killer? I can't remember. I think she believes he's misunderstood and innocent and needs her belief to save him... the infatuation would be killed stone dead if she saw the monster he is.

Do we still think he is faking the memory loss? Especially as the MRI showed no obvious cause for it? I have to say I'm watching him intently for any sign of a slip-up!!

so after 4 long hours what has actually happened - he didn't die and he's faking amnesia . When is something gonna actually happen in this series ?

I still think the amnesia is intended to be genuine, at least to some extent, though it would be reasonable if certain memories were starting to come back that he wouldn't want to disclose.

It makes for a a far more interesting and complex story if he's not just out and out faking it.

BIB very true but she didnt know he was a serial killer when she 'fell in love' with him - personally I believe that she is in love with him and she believes that he loves her - she is kinda nuts!

Not sure if she believes he is the killer or not - that part isnt overly clear - if she does believe he is maybe she will carry on his "work" in some twisted sense of loyalty to him..........

Katie is a very interesting character I think, she needs to be explored more but I dont think we will get that this series

What else could it have done though? 6 episodes of a court case followed by a guilty verdict?

I thought he dropped it outside the mental home/prison not the hospital That nurse didn't go with him.

They will be saving that for series 4..... which I will not be watching even if Jamie Dornan is naked through the whole series.

This is going nowhere and why does Anderson have to whisper

a two part court case, or just let him have died, or just not have done the stupid cliff hanger at all.

Agree. I'm really not sure why people want this rushing through. Does no one have patience anymore? the producers always said The Fall will not follow the patterns of same for same cop shows and I for one am glad. We needed something different and more true to life. The speed in which things happen on other cop shows is absurd. For serial killers like this its a long waiting game.

Katie squirted something in her 'friend's' face. Why has this not been followed up? Far too many holes in this.

Yeah, they are doing something really different with The Fall - its actually pretty audacious in this day and age to stretch a single story out over so many installments and such a long time in terms of its real life production. I love the slow pace and characters of Gibson and Spector are strong enough to sustain it - for me anyway.

I must admit the fact that there are only 2 eps left makes me wonder how this going to end? Can there be another series in the pipeline?

My only issue is with the long break between the series, but that's more to do with the children looking too old because it's been 2 years in reality but theyre only meant to be a day or so older. Really they should have been recast although the little girl isn't a bad wee actress.

Spot on. Far too many people moaning all the time. Just switch off if your bored but this is quality drama.
