Good to see that RTE are also airing the final episode on Friday, different channel though, RTE 2 instead of RTE1.

The last episode felt as though it was just treading water. Hopefully the double episode this week will more than make up for it.

Not holding my breath though

I've reached the stage with this now where I record the programme (well, I always did that, I never watch a programme 'live') then I play it back with subtitles, fast forward slowly so I can follow the programme at a much faster pace.

Doesn't really make it any more engrossing to watch. But I'll keep with it just cos I'm curious how they're going to end it. And how long before they realise he's faking his memory loss.

Is it the end of the entire show on Friday or just Paul's story? seems like a lot to get through in two hours.

I'm usually an apologist for this show's pacing, but it doesn't feel like the (probably) last ever episode is coming next. That felt like a midseason twist with a lot more to follow.

This really could have been the first episode of this series and saved us all the dirge. Only bit we'd have missed out on was the effect on Sally Ann and the kids.

Bring back Stella by all means, but give her another case! I actually thought that's what they were going to do in the second series when it was revealed during the first series that there'd BE a second series. I didn't realise they were going to drag the same story out for 3 series!

It could be a red herring: maybe the guy in prison really did commit the murder and Spector just happened to be there.

(Granted, I'm kind of hoping that: Spector's memory loss being genuine is way more philosophically interesting to me than the alternative.)
