Not impressed, my idea of "chill out" music is Peter White.

I quite liked it. Jazzfm at night had a programme that used to play all that chillout/lounge music it was great

Very smooth, here's one of my favourite chill-out tunes:

Beaumont Hannant - Sym-phon5

Nope not for me, I kept wondering when it would start! Relaxing music for me is some John Barry or soulful/deep House music.

I would be interested to know who constitutes "the more mature audio listener" because as a 53 year-old I would struggle to find anything more tedious to listen to. To me it is the musical equivalent of watching paint dry...

As a 46 year old, I'm inclined to agree.

I'm 52 and also agree. I grew up with punk and disco, amongst other genres, so that kind of muzak does nothing for me.

I'm 56 and I agree too!

I qualify as 'more mature' and I thought it was like music for funeral parlours. Give me Brian Eno or Talk Talk any day.

It's just soulless, repetitive, stuff. The tune goes goes nowhere and soon becomes monotonous, It doesn't relax me. It just becomes annoying, and I'm switching it off.
